The Reviewer

I am a 30-something voracious reader in the Pacific Northwest who can almost always be found with a book in his hand.  I enjoy reading, discussing, and sharing books.  This blog is an outlet to share my experiences with books and my reactions to what I read.

The word ‘convergence’ in the name of this blog signifies that it is a place where a wide range of genres and interest will come together.  The majority of the books you’ll see here fall in the m/m romance genre as that’s what I tend to read the most at the present time.  I’m active in a few challenge and book club groups that are m/m focused, so that tends to steer me toward books in the genre.

That said, you can definitely expect the occasional general sci-fi or fantasy title as well as contemporary fiction and a random non-fiction text here or there.

Review Format

My reviews are my reactions to what I read.  Sometimes these reactions are very detailed as I have a great deal to say and other times they’re simply a paragraph that captures how I felt when I reached the end of the last page.  Reviews are always my honest opinions, regardless of whether the book is one I picked up on my own or one for which I was provided a review copy.
